Lumiroomi · how to reach us, and the common questions

Lumiroomi is a cosy sticker-book decorating game for iPhone and iPad. Lumi, a little light, wakes a sleeping world room by room: you peel stickers from a tray, stick them where their outlines glow, light the lamps at nightfall, and the room wakes up. Then you build houses of your own with everything you’ve collected.

To reach the developer, write to support@enmilu.com. Please say which device you play on and which version of the game (it is written under “Privacy” in the game’s Settings). We read everything, and answer as quickly as one person can.

Common questions

Do I need an account?

No. There is nothing to sign up for and nothing to sign in to. If your device is signed in to iCloud, your world is kept there as well, so it follows you to your other devices; if it isn’t, the game plays on this device alone.

Where do bought sparks live?

In your save: on the device, and in your own iCloud if iCloud is on. That is why they survive the game being deleted and installed again, on the same device or on another one signed in to the same Apple Account. Bought sparks that have not yet been spent also survive “Start over”.

I bought a jar of sparks and nothing happened.

If the purchase needed a grown-up’s approval (Ask to Buy), the sparks arrive by themselves once it’s approved; the Shop says “Waiting for approval” meanwhile. If the game was closed mid-purchase, the sparks arrive the next time it opens. If the Shop says the App Store couldn’t confirm the purchase, check the date and time on the device and try again later. For a refund, ask Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com; if you are still stuck, write to us.

The Shop says it can’t reach the App Store.

The jars come from Apple, so they need an internet connection and a working App Store. Everything else in the Shop is bought with sparks earned in the game and works offline.

How do I start over?

Settings › Start over. It asks first. It puts the whole world back to sleep and clears the album, stamps, houses and the sparks that were earned; bought sparks that were not yet spent stay.

How do I turn the sound, music or vibrations off?

Settings › Sound effects, Music box and Haptics each have a switch. The game also goes quiet by itself when another app is playing sound.

How do I turn the reminder off?

Settings › Daily gift reminder. Or switch off notifications for Lumiroomi in your device’s Settings. The reminder is a single note each morning that today’s gift is ready; nothing is sent from anywhere.

The game asked me which world to keep.

That happens when the same world has been played on two devices since they last agreed, say on the iPad in the car and on the iPhone at home. The game never merges two worlds, because guessing wrong would lose an afternoon’s decorating; instead it shows how many rooms each has finished and lets you choose. The world you don’t keep is replaced.

Can two children play on one device?

Not yet: one device holds one world. Two devices signed in to different Apple Accounts each have their own.

Something looks wrong, or the game crashed.

Write to support@enmilu.com with the device, its iOS version, the game’s version (Settings › Privacy) and what you were doing. A screenshot helps enormously.
